Are you an experienced Security Business Development Manager based in the South of England looking for your next opportunity? As a Security Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth across the construction sector, selling a range of security solutions — including CCTV, manned guarding and wider security services — to main contractors, developers, subcontractors and construction professionals throughout your territory. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers, with genuine scope to grow into a senior commercial role as the business expands.

Responsibilities:

* Identify and develop new business opportunities across the construction sector, managing the full sales cycle from initial approach through to contract award.
* Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers including construction directors, commercial directors, contracts managers, procurement teams and site managers.
* Generate your own leads by leveraging an existing network of construction-industry contacts and proactively identifying upcoming projects and security requirements.
* Prepare tailored proposals and quotations for CCTV, manned guarding and other security solutions, negotiating and closing contracts to achieve revenue targets.
* Maintain an accurate and healthy sales pipeline, providing regular forecasts and reporting to the senior team.
* Work closely with the operational team to ensure the seamless mobilisation and delivery of newly won contracts.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Proven experience in a business development or sales role within the security industry, with a track record of winning new contracts.
* Demonstrable experience selling CCTV, manned guarding or commercial security services to construction-sector clients.
* An established network of contacts within the construction industry, including main contractors, developers or associated businesses.
* Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the South of England territory.
* SIA licence or membership of a relevant security industry body (desirable).
