Job Title: Key Account Manager
Location: Oxfordshire / Gloucestershire / Wiltshire / Buckinghamshire
Salary: £45,000 + 10% Bonus
Are you an experienced Key Account Manager based in Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, or Buckinghamshire looking for your next opportunity? As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing accounts across the fire and security sector, developing strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to commercial, industrial, and public sector customers. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for all client queries and requirements.
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to drive revenue growth.
* Conduct regular client visits and reviews across the Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, and Buckinghamshire territories.
* Prepare and deliver proposals, tenders, and quotations for fire and security systems and maintenance contracts.
* Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Meet and exceed sales targets in line with company objectives, reporting on pipeline activity and forecasts.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience in a key account management or field sales role within the fire and security industry, or a background as a fire and security engineer looking to move into a client-facing sales position.
* Strong knowledge of fire and security systems, including intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, and/or fire detection.
* Demonstrable ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships and manage a regional territory effectively.
* Confident in producing and presenting proposals and quotations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Full UK driving licence.
* FIA qualification (desirable).
