Job Title: Security Service Engineer
Location: Leicester
Rate: £220 per day
Are you a Security Service Engineer based in Leicester looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and fault resolution of security systems including Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV, working across a range of commercial and residential sites in and around the Leicester area. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on Intruder Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems to manufacturer and industry standards.
* Diagnose and resolve faults on a range of security systems in a timely and professional manner.
* Complete accurate service records and reports following each site visit.
* Liaise with clients on-site to communicate work carried out and any recommendations for remedial actions.
* Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant British Standards and company procedures.
Experience and Certifications required:
* A minimum of 15 years' experience working as a Security Service Engineer across Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV.
* Proven experience servicing and fault-finding on a range of leading security system brands.
* Strong knowledge of British Standards relevant to the security industry, including BS EN 50131 and BS EN 62676.
* Full UK driving licence, as the role requires travel to sites across the Leicester area.
* FIA Level 2 Award in Fire and Security Systems (desirable).
* NSI or SSAIB accreditation awareness (desirable).
