Technical Resources is partnering with a leading provider of structured cabling and ICT infrastructure solutions to hire a Project Coordinator / Manager – Data Cabling. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of high-volume data cabling rollouts across multiple retail sites throughout the UK, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule and to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Oversee the day-to-day delivery of data cabling installations across multiple retail locations, managing competing priorities and keeping projects on track.
• Scheduling & Resource Management: Plan and manage installation schedules, ensuring engineers and subcontractors are allocated effectively across all active sites.
• Stakeholder & Client Liaison: Liaise directly with clients, retail site representatives and contractors to arrange access, coordinate upcoming works and maintain clear lines of communication throughout delivery.
• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track project status, identify potential delays, implement solutions to keep works on programme, and provide regular updates and progress reports to management and clients.
• RAMS & Site Requirements: Oversee the preparation and coordination of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), ensuring site-specific requirements are met prior to mobilisation.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all works are delivered safely and efficiently in line with relevant health and safety regulations, site access requirements and project specifications.

Experience & Qualifications Required

Essential:

• Experience: Demonstrable experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Manager, Junior Project Manager or Installation Coordinator role.
• Technical Skills: Strong scheduling, planning and resource management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple installation teams and subcontractors simultaneously.
• Project/Operational Scope: Proven track record managing multi-site or multi-workstream installation programmes with fast-paced turnaround requirements.
• Soft Skills: Confident communicator with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities; comfortable managing client relationships and resolving operational issues under pressure.
• Mobility & Eligibility: Full-time site-based presence in Sheffield required; Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.

Desirable:

• Sector Background: Previous experience in Data Cabling, Structured Cabling, ICT or Telecommunications projects.
• Certifications: Knowledge of RAMS, site access procedures and construction project delivery processes.
• Programme Type: Prior experience coordinating retail rollouts or multi-site installation programmes.
