Commissioning Engineer (Siemens Cerberus Pro) – Contract

Rate: £625 per day
Working Pattern: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour days

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer with strong Siemens Cerberus Pro experience for a 2-week project based in Cornwall.
The project involves the replacement of an existing Honeywell Notifier fire alarm system with a Siemens Cerberus Pro system. The successful engineer will be responsible for commissioning the new system and will need to be fully competent working with Siemens Cerberus Pro.
This is a site-based role working 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday, with 10-hour shifts. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the project.
Key Responsibilities
• Commission and configure the new Siemens Cerberus Pro fire alarm system
• Support the changeover from the existing Honeywell Notifier system
• Carry out system testing and commissioning in line with project requirements
• Configure devices and system programming as required
• Identify and resolve faults or commissioning issues
• Complete relevant commissioning documentation and test records
• Work alongside the site team to ensure the system is successfully commissioned and handed over
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with site procedures
Experience Required
• Proven experience commissioning Siemens Cerberus Pro fire alarm systems
• Strong knowledge of Siemens fire alarm equipment and programming
• Previous fire alarm commissioning experience
• Confident fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage commissioning activities on site
Equipment / Special Requirements
All required site equipment and materials will be available on site.
The engineer must provide their own laptop and the appropriate Siemens Cerberus Pro software required to carry out the commissioning works.
