Job Title: Warden/Nurse Call Engineer
Location: Edinburgh
Rate: £220 per day
Are you a Warden/Nurse Call Engineer based in Edinburgh looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Warden/Nurse Call Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and remedial works of warden call and nurse call systems across a range of care home environments throughout the Central Belt. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on warden call and nurse call systems across multiple care home sites.
* Diagnose and resolve faults, completing remedial works to restore systems to full operation.
* Test and inspect systems in line with manufacturer guidelines and relevant standards.
* Liaise professionally with site staff and care home management to minimise disruption during works.
* Complete accurate service reports and job documentation upon completion of each visit.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience servicing and maintaining warden call and/or nurse call systems.
* Familiarity with leading warden and nurse call system manufacturers and platforms.
* Experience working within occupied care home or healthcare environments.
* Full UK driving licence, as the role requires travel across the Central Belt.
* ECS Card (desirable).
* FIA qualification or equivalent fire and security industry certification (desirable).
