Job Title: Senior AV Install Engineer
Location: Hertfordshire
Salary: From £35,000 per annum + Van + Overtime
Are you looking for a Senior AV Install Engineer position working in Hertfordshire? As a Senior AV Install Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering and commissioning high-quality AV installations across a range of retail, hospitality, corporate, and stadium environments. You will be working for a growing AV and digital signage specialist with an excellent reputation for delivering projects to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
● Install, configure, and commission AV solutions across client sites
● Deliver high-quality AV installations across a diverse client base
● Work closely with Project Managers and technical teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
● Travel to client sites as required, with UK-wide travel forming part of the role
● Support and mentor junior engineers, helping to develop their technical skills
● Maintain excellent standards on site and work in line with health and safety procedures
● Carry out site surveys and assist with project specifications where required
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar AV installation role
● Experience installing AV solutions including screens, projectors, and meeting room technologies
● Good knowledge of audio systems and signal transmission technologies, including HDBaseT
● Experience with digital signage, networking, IP technology, and wider AV systems
● Experience installing control systems including AMX, Crestron, SY, Extron, and Kramer
● Experience with rack building and equipment integration
● Basic programming knowledge
● Experience carrying out site surveys and producing specifications
● Full UK Driving Licence
