Job Title: Security Service Engineer
Location: Leicester
Rate: £220 per day
Are you looking for an experienced Security Service Engineer based in the Leicester area for your next contract opportunity? As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault diagnosis of security systems across a range of commercial and residential sites, ensuring all systems are operating to the required standard and client expectations are consistently met. This candidate brings over 15 years of hands-on experience to an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Service, maintain, and repair Intruder Alarm systems across commercial and residential sites.
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive callouts for Access Control systems.
* Install, commission, and fault-find CCTV systems, ensuring full functionality upon completion.
* Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently, minimising system downtime for clients.
* Complete all relevant documentation, service reports, and certification in line with company and industry requirements.
* Liaise professionally with clients on-site, providing clear communication regarding system status and any remedial actions required.
Experience and Certifications required:
* 15+ years of experience servicing and maintaining Intruder Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV systems.
* Proven ability to work across a range of manufacturer systems and platforms within the security sector.
* Experience carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive fault-finding.
* Full UK driving licence.
* SIA licence (desirable).
* NSI or SSAIB recognised installer accreditation (desirable).
