We are seeking an experienced Sprinkler Design Engineer to join a leading fire protection contractor, focusing on commercial and residential sprinkler projects. The successful candidate will work on full project lifecycle design, ensuring compliance with LPCB/British Standards and delivering accurate hydraulic calculations.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed sprinkler system designs for commercial and residential projects
- Carry out hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and water supply analysis
- Prepare layout drawings, schematics, and design documentation using AutoCAD/Revit
- Ensure compliance with LPCB and BS EN12845 standards
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery
- Provide technical support across design, installation, and commissioning stages
- Maintain accurate project records and update design changes as required
- Proven experience in sprinkler system design
- Strong knowledge of LPCB standards and relevant British Standards (BS EN12845, BS9251)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience highly desirable)
- Excellent communication skills and client-facing ability
- LPCB Basic/Intermediate/Design Certificates highly advantageous
