Job Title: Fire Safety Manager

Salary: From £60k to £68k per annum
Are you an experienced Fire Safety Manager based in London looking for your next challenge? Technical Resources are recruiting for a Fire Safety Manager to oversee fire safety compliance on a high-profile London site. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for maintaining fire safety standards, managing risk, and ensuring all systems and procedures remain compliant across a complex commercial environment. You will be working for a leading Fire & Security engineering business delivering enterprise-level solutions across commercial, banking and healthcare sectors.
Responsibilities:
● Work with the Risk Manager to maintain and update the Fire Strategy
● Review and manage the site Fire Risk Assessment
● Promote a strong fire prevention and safety culture across site operations
● Ensure compliance with all relevant fire safety legislation and procedures
● Monitor life safety equipment inspections, servicing and maintenance schedules
● Oversee statutory testing of fire detection, alarm and suppression systems
● Liaise with Facilities Management teams to maintain compliant fire protection systems
● Deliver fire safety awareness and evacuation training to staff
● Maintain all fire safety documentation, procedures and policies
● Support asset registers and dilapidation reports relating to fire safety systems
● Carry out retailer fire safety inspections and follow-up actions
● Advise stakeholders on fire safety implications relating to site changes and activities
Experience and Certifications required:
● Previous experience in a Fire Safety Manager position or similar role
● Minimum Level 4 Fire Safety Diploma or equivalent qualification
● Strong understanding of fire safety legislation, standards and guidance
● Experience managing fire risk and fire prevention processes
● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
● Strong report writing and documentation experience
● Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment
