Job Title: Key Account Manager

Salary: £45,000 + 10% Bonus
Are you a Key Account Manager based in Wiltshire looking for your next opportunity? As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of clients within the fire and security sector, building long-term relationships and identifying opportunities to grow revenue across services including intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and fire detection systems. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for clients across the fire and security sector.
* Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services, including maintenance contracts, system upgrades, and additional security solutions.
* Prepare and present tailored proposals and quotations to clients, ensuring solutions meet their specific requirements.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including facilities managers, site managers, and procurement teams.
* Work closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects and high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Monitor account performance, produce regular reports, and develop strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience in a key account management or technical sales role within the fire and security industry, or a background as a fire and security engineer looking to move into a client-facing role.
* Strong working knowledge of fire and security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, and fire detection.
* Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline, deliver against targets, and grow account revenue.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients at all levels.
* Full UK driving licence, as the role requires regular client visits across the region.
* FIA qualification (desirable).
