Job Title: Security Service Engineer
Location: Chatham, Kent
Rate: £220 per day
Are you a Security Service Engineer based in Kent looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of security systems across a variety of commercial and residential sites throughout East Kent. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Service and maintain access control, door entry, and CCTV systems to a high standard.
* Carry out fault diagnosis and repair on a range of security equipment.
* Complete planned preventative maintenance visits in line with service schedules.
* Respond to reactive callouts and resolve system faults efficiently.
* Accurately complete service reports and maintain records for each site visit.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience as a Security Service Engineer, with strong working knowledge of access control, door entry, and CCTV systems.
* Ability to diagnose and resolve faults across a variety of manufacturers and system types.
* Experience covering multiple sites across a defined geographic area.
* Full UK driving licence.
* ECS Card and valid DBS check required.
* FIA membership or SIA licence (desirable).
