Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Rate: £180 per day
Are you a Data Cabling Engineer looking for work in Nottingham? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out full installations across multiple sites, including containment, cabling, and testing. You will be working for a professional organisation delivering structured cabling projects across a range of environments.
Description of contract/programme of works:
● Installation of containment systems, including UPVC
● Installation, termination, and testing of Cat6 and Cat6a cabling
● Complete full installations across multiple sites (typically 1–2 days per site)
● Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within project timelines
Experience required:
● Experience working as a Data Cabling Engineer
● Strong experience with Cat6 and Cat6a installation, termination, and testing
● Experience with containment installation
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
● ECS/CSCS card
● Own tools and PPE
● Testing equipment (preferred)
