Job Title: Fire Alarm Installation Engineer

Length: 2 weeks
Rate: £220 per day
Are you a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer based in Sunderland looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites, carrying out first and second fix works to ensure systems are installed safely, correctly, and in line with project specifications. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out first and second fix installation of fire alarm systems on commercial and industrial projects.
* Install and terminate devices, cabling, and control equipment to Advanced fire alarm panels.
* Work from drawings and schematics to ensure installations meet design specifications.
* Adhere to relevant British Standards and site health and safety requirements throughout the project.
* Liaise with site management and other trades to ensure works progress efficiently and on schedule.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in fire alarm installation, with proven first and second fix competency.
* Demonstrated experience working with Advanced fire alarm panels.
* Ability to read and work from installation drawings and technical documentation.
* Full UK driving licence.
* ECS or CSCS card (required).
* IPAF licence (required).
* FIA qualification (desirable).
