As an Embedded Security Engineer / Applications Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and deployment of integrated security systems across commercial, corporate, and high-security environments, working closely with clients to deliver tailored access control and video management solutions. Responsibilities:
* Configure and deploy C-CURE 9000 access control systems to meet client specifications.
* Design and implement Genetec Security Centre solutions, including video surveillance and access control integration.
* Liaise with clients and project teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective security system designs.
* Carry out system commissioning, testing, and handover, ensuring all installations meet required standards.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for live security systems, resolving issues in a timely manner.
* Produce accurate as-built documentation, configuration records, and system handover packs.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3 years' experience working with integrated electronic security systems.
* Proven hands-on experience configuring and supporting C-CURE 9000 access control platforms.
* Demonstrable experience with Genetec Security Centre, including video management and access control modules.
* Strong understanding of IP networking principles as they apply to security system architecture.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Genetec Certified Partner accreditation (desirable).
* ECS Gold Card or equivalent security industry qualification (desirable).
