Location: Central Belt, Scotland

Technical Resources have partnered with a leading fire protection and electrical contracting specialist to recruit two Site Supervisors.

Our client is an established, UK-wide fire protection and electrical contracting business, trusted by national infrastructure operators. They design, install and maintain compliant fire safety and electrical systems across high-risk environments — from windfarms and oil rigs to schools and industrial sites.
Due to continued growth on major utility projects, they now require two experienced Site Supervisors to oversee day-to-day operations on sites across Scotland.

The role
Working on sites across Scotland, you will supervise daily activities, coordinate contractors and operatives, and ensure all works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising day-to-day site activities
  • Ensuring full compliance with site rules, RAMS and permit-to-work systems
  • Coordinating contractors, subcontractors and site operatives
  • Delivering site briefings, toolbox talks and routine safety checks
  • Monitoring progress against programme milestones and quality benchmarks
  • Reporting site issues, incidents and daily/weekly progress to the Project Manager

About you
This is an ideal opportunity for a hands-on supervisor with a strong fire and security background who is comfortable working within live utility environments and leading small teams on complex sites.
You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience supervising fire, security or electrical installation/maintenance projects
  • A recognised Health & Safety competency (e.g. SSSTS, SMSTS, NEBOSH, or equivalent)
  • Valid SSSTS, SMSTS and an in-date ECS or CSCS card (essential)
  • Confidence delivering toolbox talks, briefings and safety inspections
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to track progress and report clearly
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Central Belt
