Job Title: Security Project Manager
Location: Berkshire / West London
Salary: £70,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance
Are you a Security Project Manager based in Berkshire or West London looking for your next opportunity? As a Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of security systems projects, managing programmes of work across commercial, industrial, and high-value residential sites from initial design and planning through to commissioning and handover. Responsibilities:
* Manage the full project lifecycle for security systems installations, including CCTV, access control, intruder detection, and integrated systems, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
* Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, coordinating labour, materials, and subcontractors to meet key milestones.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project, managing expectations and providing regular progress updates.
* Oversee site teams and installation engineers, ensuring work is carried out to the required standard and in line with health and safety requirements.
* Monitor project costs and manage variations, producing accurate financial reporting and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure all documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and commissioning records, is completed and handed over in full at project close.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience in a Project Manager role within the security systems industry, with a track record of delivering projects from £100k upwards.
* Strong technical knowledge of security systems including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems from leading manufacturers such as Genetec, Lenel, Honeywell, or Gallagher.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong commercial awareness and budget management skills.
* Experience managing subcontractors and directly employed site teams across multi-site or complex project environments.
* Full UK driving licence.
* NSI/SSAIB-recognised installation experience or affiliation (desirable).
* SMSTS or PRINCES2/APM Project Management qualification (desirable).
