Job Title: Security Installation Engineer

Rate: £220 per day
Are you a Security Installation Engineer based in Glasgow looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and fault finding of security systems across commercial and residential sites, working with Access Control, Door Entry, Intruder Alarms, and CCTV. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Install Access Control, Door Entry, Intruder Alarm, and CCTV systems to manufacturer and industry standards.
* Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on existing security systems, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
* Commission installed systems and carry out functional testing prior to handover.
* Liaise with site teams and clients to ensure installations are completed on time and to specification.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, including any remedial actions taken on site.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience as a Security Installation Engineer, with a strong background in Access Control, Door Entry, Intruder Alarms, and CCTV.
* Demonstrable fault finding ability across a range of security systems and manufacturers.
* Experience working on commercial or mixed-use sites.
* Full UK driving licence.
* ECS/CSCS card (required).
* NSI or SSAIB-recognised installer qualification (desirable).
