Job Title: Key Account Manager
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: £45,000 + 10% Bonus
Are you a Key Account Manager based in Gloucestershire looking for your next opportunity? As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of client accounts within the fire and security sector, developing strong relationships with customers across commercial, industrial, and residential sites to drive retention and new business growth. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for all client queries and requirements.
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across existing accounts to grow revenue in line with business targets.
* Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations, and tender responses to clients.
* Conduct regular client review meetings to ensure satisfaction and strengthen long-term relationships.
* Collaborate with operational and engineering teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
* Monitor account performance and produce regular reports on pipeline activity and revenue forecasts.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience in a key account management or technical sales role within the fire and security industry, or a background as a fire and security engineer looking to move into a client-facing position.
* Sound knowledge of fire and security systems, including intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, and/or fire detection.
* Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and manage a growing client portfolio.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
* Full UK driving licence.
* FIA membership or associated fire and security qualifications (desirable).
