Technical Resources is partnering with a leading provider of commercial security solutions to hire a Security Installation Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of CCTV and intruder alarm systems, ensuring all works are completed to a high standard within the agreed timeframe.

Key Responsibilities

• CCTV Installation: Install, configure, and test CCTV systems to client specifications and industry standards.
• Intruder Alarm Installation: Install and commission intruder alarm systems, ensuring correct operation and compliance with relevant standards.
• On-Site Coordination: Liaise with site management and other trades to ensure works are completed safely and on schedule.
• Testing & Documentation: Complete relevant test records, handover documentation, and site sign-off paperwork accurately.
• Quality & Compliance: Adhere to BS 8418, PD 6662, and applicable health and safety regulations throughout all on-site activities.

Experience & Qualifications Required

Essential:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Security Installation Engineer within the physical security industry.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on installation experience with CCTV systems and intruder alarm systems across commercial environments.
• Project/Operational Scope: Proven track record of delivering standalone and multi-system security installations to a high standard.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work independently on site, strong communication skills, and a professional, client-facing manner.
• Mobility & Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK; ability to travel to and work in Romford for the duration of the contract.

Desirable:

• Certifications: ECS or CSCS card and valid DBS check — these are required for this role.
• Sector Background: Prior experience on commercial security contracts, retail, or public sector sites.
