Job Title: Fire & Security Project Manager
Location: North-East
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Package (DOE)
Are you a Fire & Security Project Manager based in the North-East looking for your next opportunity? As a Fire & Security Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of fire detection, intruder alarm, access control, and CCTV projects across a range of commercial, industrial, and public sector sites, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end delivery of fire and security installation projects, from initial planning through to commissioning and handover.
* Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, and resource plans to ensure milestones are met.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with health and safety requirements.
* Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimise delays and cost overruns.
* Produce accurate project documentation including risk assessments, method statements, and progress reports.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3–5 years' experience managing fire and security projects in a commercial or industrial environment.
* Proven knowledge of fire detection systems, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV installations.
* Experience managing subcontractors and working to NEC or JCT contract frameworks.
* Strong understanding of relevant British Standards, including BS 5839 and BS EN 50132.
* Full UK driving licence.
* FIA Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (desirable).
* SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification (desirable).
