Job Title: Fire Alarm Installation Engineer

Are you a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer based in Chatteris looking for your next opportunity? As a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting across a range of commercial and residential sites. Responsibilities:
* Install fire alarm systems in accordance with BS 5839 and manufacturer specifications.
* Carry out installation of fire extinguishers, ensuring correct placement and compliance with BS 5306.
* Install emergency lighting systems in line with BS 5266 and relevant standards.
* Read and work from technical drawings, schematics, and installation documentation.
* Liaise with site managers and clients to ensure work is completed to programme and specification.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety requirements on site.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, ideally 3 or more years in a similar role.
* Hands-on experience installing fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting.
* Familiarity with a range of fire alarm panels and system types from leading manufacturers.
* Full UK driving licence required.
* ECS or CSCS card required.
* IPAF licence required.
