Job Title: Fire Design Estimator
Location: South East (Hybrid)
Salary: From £50,000 To £55,000 per annum
Are you a Fire Design Estimator based in the South East looking for a hybrid role with flexibility and career progression? As a Fire Design Estimator, you will be responsible for producing accurate quotations, conducting site surveys, and supporting the delivery of fire alarm projects up to £2m in value. You will be working for a well-established Fire and Security business with over 20 years’ experience, specialising in high-quality fire system solutions.
Responsibilities:
● Produce detailed and accurate quotations for fire alarm projects up to £2m
● Conduct site surveys to assess project requirements and scope
● Create and amend technical proposals and documentation
● Work closely with the sales team to support project wins
● Mentor and support junior Design Engineers
● Ensure all designs and estimates meet industry standards and client requirements
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 5 years’ experience in fire alarm design and estimating
● Strong experience working on fire alarm systems
● Ability to produce accurate and commercially viable quotations
● Experience conducting site surveys and producing technical proposals
● Preferred: hands-on background in installing and servicing fire alarm systems
