Technical Resources is partnering with a leading provider of commercial audio-visual integration services to hire an AV Installation Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of AV systems across commercial environments, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and within project timescales.

Key Responsibilities
- AV System Installation: Install, terminate, and configure audio-visual equipment including displays, video walls, projectors, speakers, amplifiers, and control systems across commercial sites.
- Cable Management & Infrastructure: Run and dress structured cabling (HDMI, SDI, Cat6, fibre) in line with project specifications and site requirements.
- Stakeholder & Site Coordination: Liaise with project managers, main contractors, and on-site teams to ensure works are delivered on programme and with minimal disruption.
- Technical Oversight & Documentation: Complete relevant site paperwork, snagging lists, as-built drawings, and handover documentation upon project completion.
- Quality & Compliance: Adhere to relevant health and safety regulations, CDM requirements, and manufacturer installation guidelines throughout all works.
Experience & Qualifications Required
Essential:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as an AV Installation Engineer within the commercial AV integration industry.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with leading AV platforms and equipment such as Crestron, AMX, Extron, Cisco, Poly, QSC, and Biamp, across commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
- Project/Operational Scope: Proven track record of delivering AV installations across commercial offices, boardrooms, conference facilities, or similar environments.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, a methodical approach to fault-finding, and the ability to represent the company professionally on client sites.
- Mobility & Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK; ability to travel to sites across London and occasionally beyond.
Desirable:
- Certifications: AVIXA CTS, Crestron or AMX certification, CSCS card, ECS card, or equivalent.
- Sector Background: Prior experience on corporate fit-out, higher education, or hospitality AV projects is advantageous.
