Fire & Security Service Manager
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £50,000 + car or car allowance
Technical Resources have partnered with a leading Fire & Security provider to recruit a Fire & Security Service Manager for their Edinburgh -based service team.
You will lead a team of 7 Service Engineers and specialist contractors, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance across a varied fire and security portfolio.
You will combine operational leadership with strong technical support, client relationship management, and involvement in recruitment and team development.

You will lead a team of 7 Service Engineers and specialist contractors, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance across a varied fire and security portfolio.
You will combine operational leadership with strong technical support, client relationship management, and involvement in recruitment and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of 7 Fire & Security Service Engineers.
- Plan and allocate planned preventative maintenance, reactive works, call-outs, and emergency response.
- Supervise specialist contractors and ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, and contractual standards.
- Provide technical support and resolve escalations across fire alarm, CCTV/IP CCTV, access control, intruder alarm, and related systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, attending reviews, site visits, and audits as required.
- Monitor service performance, productivity, first-time-fix rates, costs, and KPIs.
- Support quotations, variations, additional works, and commercial growth within the existing client base.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, appraisals, and performance management.
Experience
- Proven experience managing service engineers and/or contractors in fire & security.
- Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems.
- Confident providing technical guidance and resolving complex system faults.
- Excellent client-facing, communication, and organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of health and safety, compliance, and relevant industry standards.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites.
