Job Title: Security Service Engineer
Location: Plymouth
Rate: £220 per day
Are you a Security Service Engineer based in Plymouth looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and fault diagnosis of security systems across a range of commercial, industrial, and residential sites, ensuring all systems are fully operational and compliant with industry standards. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive servicing of security systems including intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV.
* Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, minimising system downtime for clients.
* Complete accurate service reports and maintain records in line with company and industry requirements.
* Liaise with site contacts and clients to ensure works are carried out with minimal disruption.
* Ensure all installations and servicing work meets relevant British Standards and industry regulations.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 15 years of experience working as a Security Service Engineer in a field-based role.
* Proven experience servicing and maintaining intruder alarm, access control, and CCTV systems from leading manufacturers.
* Full UK driving licence required.
* ECS Card (held).
* IPAF (held).
* Asbestos Awareness (held).
* FIA qualifications (desirable).
