Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician
Location: North East England – Newcastle upon Tyne (NE), Durham (DH), Sunderland (SR)
Salary: Up to £50,000 OTE
Are you a Fire Alarm Technician based in the North East looking for your next opportunity? As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and fault-finding fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites throughout Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham and Sunderland. Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain and fault-find conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with industry standards.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise system downtime.
- Complete all service reports and associated documentation accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service whilst working on client sites.
- Participate in an on-call rota where required.
Experience and Certifications required:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Experience servicing and maintaining conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- ECS/CSCS Card (desirable).
- FIA or relevant fire alarm qualifications (desirable).
