Job Title: Small Works Manager - Security
Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: From £40,000 per annum
Are you a Small Works Manager based in South Yorkshire looking for your next opportunity? As a Small Works Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing security projects, including CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems across a varied commercial client base. You will be working for a well-established Fire and Security provider with over 30 years of industry experience and a strong reputation within the market.
Responsibilities:
● Manage small works security projects up to the value of £50,000
● Oversee CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm installations
● Maintain full profit and loss responsibility across projects
● Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and clients
● Manage subcontractors on site and ensure all works are H&S compliant
● Assist with commissioning activities where required
● Ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
● Previous experience as a Project Engineer, Small Works Manager, or Supervisor
● Strong technical knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems
● Fire alarm knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential
● Excellent client-facing and organisational skills
● Strong understanding of health and safety compliance on site
