Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Newcastle
Rate: £220 per day
Are you a Fire and Security Service Engineer based in the North East looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire and security systems across a range of commercial and residential sites throughout the North East region. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive servicing of fire alarm, intruder alarm, access control, and CCTV systems.
* Diagnose and resolve faults across a range of fire and security systems in a timely and professional manner.
* Complete accurate service reports and system documentation following each site visit.
* Liaise with clients on-site to communicate findings, recommendations, and any remedial works required.
* Travel across the North East region to attend scheduled and emergency callouts as required.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience as a Fire and Security Service Engineer, with a strong background in servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.
* Demonstrable competency across fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV systems.
* Experience working with a range of leading industry system manufacturers and equipment.
* Full UK driving licence, with willingness to travel throughout the North East.
* FIA qualification or equivalent fire industry training (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable).
