Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer
Location: Oxford
Length: Monthly rolling contract
Rate: £220 per day
Are you a Fire Alarm Engineer based in Oxford looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out the servicing, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems across a variety of commercial and residential sites in the Oxford area. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of fire alarm systems in line with BS 5839 standards.
* Diagnose and repair faults on fire alarm systems across a range of sites.
* Service and maintain multi-panel fire alarm systems including Gent and Siemens.
* Complete accurate service and maintenance records following each site visit.
* Liaise professionally with site contacts and building managers during visits.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
* Proven experience working with multi-panel systems, including Gent and Siemens.
* Strong knowledge of BS 5839 and current fire alarm regulations.
* Full UK driving licence.
* FIA Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable).
