Job Title: Non-Working Supervisor (Fire Alarm)

Length: 4–6 weeks
Rate: £300–£320 per day
Are you an experienced Non-Working Supervisor (Fire Alarm) based in or able to commute to Lancaster looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Non-Working Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating fire alarm installation works on site, managing teams across commercial and residential developments to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire alarm solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate a team of approximately 10 fire alarm engineers on site, providing clear direction and daily task allocation.
* Monitor installation progress against programme and report updates directly to the Project Manager.
* Act as the primary on-site point of contact for the client and other stakeholders, managing communications professionally and promptly.
* Ensure all installation activities are carried out in compliance with project specifications, health & safety regulations, and site-specific requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of site activities, issues, and resolutions throughout the project.
* Support quality assurance checks and snagging to ensure works meet the required standards prior to completion.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience in a non-working supervisory role on fire alarm installation projects, with the ability to lead and coordinate a team without carrying out hands-on installation.
* Strong technical knowledge of fire alarm systems and installation methodologies.
* Valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification.
* Valid ECS Card (Electrotechnical Certification Scheme).
* First Aid at Work certificate, in date.
* Full UK driving licence and own transport.
