Job Title: Fire and Security Installation Engineer

Length: 2 weeks
Rate: £220 per day
Are you a Fire and Security Installation Engineer based in Leek looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of fire alarm, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Install fire alarm systems in accordance with BS 5839 standards and manufacturer specifications.
* Install CCTV systems including cameras, DVR/NVR units, and associated cabling.
* Install intruder alarm systems including control panels, detectors, and peripherals.
* Carry out cable containment and first and second fix works on site.
* Work closely with site teams and project managers to ensure installations are completed on time and to specification.
* Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in line with relevant health and safety requirements.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in fire and security installation, covering fire alarms, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems.
* Proven experience installing fire alarm systems from manufacturers such as Hochiki, Morley, or Advanced.
* Experience with CCTV systems from manufacturers such as Hikvision, Dahua, or Axis.
* Experience installing intruder alarm systems to Grade 2 or above.
* Full UK driving licence.
* ECS or CSCS card required.
* FIA qualification (desirable).
