Job Title: Senior AV Install Engineer
Location: Manchester
Salary: From £35k per annum + Van + Overtime
Are you looking for a Senior AV Install Engineer position working in Manchester? As a Senior AV Install Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering and commissioning high-quality AV and digital signage installations across a variety of environments including retail, hospitality, corporate and stadium projects. You will be working for a growing specialist business that designs and delivers innovative AV solutions across the UK.
Responsibilities:
● Install, configure and commission AV solutions across client sites
● Deliver high-quality installations across retail, hospitality, corporate and stadium environments
● Work closely with Project Managers and technical teams to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently
● Travel to client sites as required, primarily across the North with occasional UK-wide travel
● Support and mentor Trainee AV Installation Engineers on site
● Maintain high standards of workmanship and comply with HSE procedures and protocols
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar AV installation role
● Experience installing AV solutions including screens and projectors within meeting rooms and classrooms
● Good knowledge of audio systems and signal transmission technologies, including HDBaseT
● Experience with digital signage, networking, IP technology and wider AV systems
● Experience installing and configuring control systems including AMX, Crestron, SY, Extron and Kramer
● Experience with rack building and basic programming
● Experience carrying out site surveys and producing specifications
