Technical Resources is partnering with a leading provider of enterprise physical security solutions to hire a Security Engineer - Embedded. In this role, you will be responsible for the on-site service and maintenance of access control systems, ensuring maximum system uptime and delivering a high standard of technical support to an embedded client.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative & Reactive Maintenance: Carry out scheduled and reactive servicing of access control and integrated security systems to maintain performance and compliance.
• System Fault Diagnosis & Repair: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical faults across CCure access control platforms in a timely manner.
• Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary on-site technical point of contact, building strong relationships with the embedded client and reporting on system status.
• Technical Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate service records, site logs, and completion reports in line with company and client requirements.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant industry standards and site-specific health and safety regulations.

Experience & Qualifications Required

Essential:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Security Engineer within the physical security industry.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with CCure access control systems, including configuration, servicing, and fault-finding.
• Project/Operational Scope: Proven track record of delivering reactive and planned maintenance works within a commercial or enterprise environment.
• Soft Skills: Strong client-facing communication skills, methodical fault-finding approach, and the ability to work independently on an embedded site.
• Mobility & Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.

Desirable:

• Certifications: CSCS, SIA Licence, or equivalent industry-recognised credentials.
• Sector Background: Prior experience on embedded or single-site contracts within commercial, corporate, or critical infrastructure environments.
