About the Role
Are you an experienced CCTV Installation Engineer looking for your next opportunity?
Technical Resources is partnering with a leading provider of commercial security and surveillance solutions to hire a CCTV Installation Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and configuration of CCTV systems across a range of commercial and public sector sites, ensuring all works are completed to the highest technical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- CCTV Installation: Install, configure, and commission CCTV systems including IP cameras, DVRs, NVRs, and associated cabling infrastructure across multiple sites.
- System Commissioning & Testing: Carry out functional testing and sign-off of installed surveillance equipment, ensuring all systems operate to specification.
- Client & Site Liaison: Coordinate with site managers, end clients, and other trades to ensure smooth delivery of works with minimal disruption.
- Technical Documentation & Reporting: Complete accurate installation records, as-built drawings, and handover documentation in line with project requirements.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all works adhere to relevant industry standards, including BS EN 62676 and applicable Health & Safety regulations.
Experience & Qualifications Required
Essential:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a CCTV Installation Engineer within the physical security industry.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with IP and analogue CCTV systems, including platforms such as Hikvision, Axis, Dahua, Milestone, or Genetec.
- Project/Operational Scope: Proven track record of delivering CCTV installations across commercial, retail, or public sector environments.
- Soft Skills: Strong fault-finding ability, clear communication with clients and site teams, and a professional approach on site.
- Mobility & Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK; willingness to travel to sites across the Leeds region.
Desirable:
- Certifications: CSCS card, SIA licence, or IPAF/PASMA qualifications advantageous.
- Sector Background: Prior experience working on contracts within critical infrastructure, education, or local authority environments.
