Job Title: Security Project Engineer
Location: Manchester
Rate: £330 p/day
Are you a Security Project Engineer looking for your next contract role in Manchester? Technical Resources are recruiting for an experienced Security Project Engineer to work on access control and CCTV commissioning projects across substations. You will be working on large-scale electronic security systems within a highly regulated environment.
Description of contract/programme of works:
● Commission access control and CCTV systems across substations
● Work on Galaxy intruder systems, Avigilon CCTV, and Avigilon Access Control
● Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety legislation, and CDM Regulations
● Conduct site inductions and maintain sign-in registers
● Ensure RAMS are followed by all operatives on site
● Provide regular updates and progress reports to the Project Manager
● Complete commissioning paperwork and commissioning packs in full
● Report accidents, incidents, and near misses
● Attend project progress meetings
● Carry out Health & Safety and quality audits
Experience required:
● Minimum of 5 years’ experience within electronic security
● Strong commissioning experience with access control and CCTV systems
● Experience working within regulated or critical infrastructure environments preferred
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
● Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and CDM compliance
