Are you a Fire and Security Installation Engineer based in Central London looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites in Central London. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Install fire alarm systems in line with relevant standards and site specifications.
* Install CCTV systems, including cameras, cabling, and associated equipment.
* Install access control systems, including door entry hardware and control panels.
* Install intruder alarm systems, ensuring correct placement and secure fixing of all components.
* Work closely with site teams and project managers to ensure installations are completed on time and to the required standard.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment throughout the installation process.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Proven experience as a Fire and Security Installation Engineer, with hands-on knowledge of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
* Experience working on commercial and/or residential projects in a busy urban environment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site plans.
* Full UK driving licence.
* ECS or CSCS card (required).
* FIA qualification (desirable).
