About the Role

Are you an experienced Embedded Security Project Manager looking for your next opportunity?

Technical Resources is partnering with a leading provider of integrated physical security solutions to hire an Embedded Security Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle of embedded security system installations, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery: Manage end-to-end delivery of embedded security projects, from initial scope and design through to commissioning and client handover.
  • Programme Management: Maintain detailed project plans, track milestones, manage risks, and ensure all works are completed to specification and within agreed timescales.
  • Stakeholder & Team Management: Coordinate directly with clients, site teams, subcontractors, and internal engineering resources to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Technical Oversight & Reporting: Produce and maintain project documentation including risk registers, RAMS, O&M manuals, and handover packs, providing regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including BS EN 50132, BS 7858, and applicable Health & Safety legislation.

Experience & Qualifications Required

Essential:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Project Manager within the physical security or embedded security industry.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on project management experience with integrated security systems, including access control platforms (e.g. Lenel, CCure, Genetec), CCTV, and intruder detection systems.
  • Project/Operational Scope: Proven track record of delivering multi-site or complex embedded security projects within commercial, critical infrastructure, or enterprise environments.
  • Soft Skills: Strong client relationship management, clear communication across all levels, and confident problem-solving under pressure.
  • Mobility & Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.

Desirable:

  • Certifications: PRINCE2, APM, or equivalent project management qualification; CSCS/ECS card; SIA-related training or awareness.
  • Sector Background: Prior experience on high-security, government, or critical national infrastructure contracts.
