Are you an EV Maintenance & Installation Engineer based in Kent or Surrey looking for your next opportunity? As an EV Maintenance & Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, testing, inspecting, and installing AC and DC EV charging systems across commercial and domestic sites throughout the UK. You will be working for a fast-growing specialist business delivering EV infrastructure solutions nationwide.
Responsibilities:
● Carry out planned preventative maintenance on EV charging systems
● Diagnose and repair faults across commercial and domestic EV charging infrastructure
● Respond to reactive call-outs and emergency breakdowns
● Install, test and commission EV charging systems
● Support commercial electrical projects involving three-phase supplies, containment and distribution equipment
● Carry out inspection and testing, including EICRs
● Complete service reports and technical documentation accurately
● Provide professional handovers and user training on customer sites
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial electrical installation and maintenance
● Experience carrying out electrical fault-finding and diagnostics
● Experience working with three-phase systems
● Experience installing and maintaining EV charging systems
● Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services or equivalent
● ECS or CSCS Card
● 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
● EV Charge Point Installation Qualification
● 2391 or equivalent Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing Qualification
● Full UK Driving Licence
