Technical Resources is partnering with a leading provider of enterprise electronic security systems to hire a Project Engineer – Security Systems (C-Cure & PACOM). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day engineering activities on a fast-paced security project in Central London, supporting the technical delivery of access control and integrated security infrastructure from installation through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Delivery: Support the installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of C-Cure Access Control and PACOM Security Systems to the required project standards.
• Site Engineering Oversight: Oversee and coordinate day-to-day engineering activities on site, monitoring installation progress and managing outstanding works and snagging.
• Stakeholder & Team Coordination: Work closely with the on-site Project Manager, installation engineers and subcontractors to ensure works progress in line with programme requirements.
• Technical Support & Reporting: Provide hands-on technical guidance to installation teams, interpret drawings and schematics, and complete testing, commissioning documentation and progress reports.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all engineering works are carried out safely and in accordance with relevant quality standards and project specifications, supporting final system testing and project handover.

Experience & Qualifications Required

Essential:

• Experience: Proven background as a Security Project Engineer, Senior Security Engineer or Security Systems Engineer on commercial projects.
• Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with C-Cure Access Control Systems and PACOM Security Systems — both essential.
• Project/Operational Scope: Demonstrable experience supporting installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities on electronic security projects.
• Soft Skills: Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability, confident reading technical drawings and schematics, and effective communication with project managers, clients and contractors.
• Mobility & Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.

Desirable:

• Certifications: Valid ECS Card — essential; familiarity with security systems integration and networked security infrastructure.
• Sector Background: Previous experience on large-scale commercial or high-security projects, with a track record of coordinating subcontractors and supporting full project lifecycle delivery from installation through to commissioning.
