Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: Kent
Rate: £240 per day
Are you a Fire and Security Service Engineer based in Kent looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and remedial works of fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance on fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems to manufacturer and industry standards.
* Diagnose and resolve faults on a range of fire and security systems, completing remedial works to restore full system functionality.
* Produce accurate service and maintenance reports following each site visit, recording all works undertaken.
* Liaise with site contacts and end users to communicate findings, works completed, and any recommendations.
* Ensure all works are completed in compliance with relevant British Standards and company procedures.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
* Demonstrable knowledge of fire alarm panels and intruder alarm systems from leading manufacturers such as Advanced, Gent, Texecom, or Honeywell.
* Experience carrying out remedial and fault-finding works across a mixed portfolio of fire and security systems.
* Full UK driving licence, as the role requires daily travel to client sites across Kent.
* FIA Fire Alarm Inspection and Servicing certificate (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable).
