Technical Resources is partnering with a leading provider of enterprise physical security systems to hire an Embedded Security Engineer / Applications Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and application engineering of integrated security solutions, ensuring seamless deployment and ongoing performance across client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• System Configuration & Integration: Design, configure, and integrate access control and video management platforms including CCure and Genetec to meet client specifications.
• Applications Engineering: Develop and deliver tailored security application solutions, providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle from design through to commissioning.
• Stakeholder & Client Management: Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and delivered to specification.
• Technical Documentation & Reporting: Produce and maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, handover packs, and progress reports.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all installations and configurations adhere to relevant industry standards and client security policies, maintaining compliance throughout each project.

Experience & Qualifications Required

Essential:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years as an Embedded Security Engineer or Applications Engineer within the physical security industry.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with CCure and Genetec platforms; familiarity with access control, CCTV, and integrated security system architecture.
• Project/Operational Scope: Demonstrated track record of delivering security application engineering on commercial or enterprise-scale projects.
• Soft Skills: Strong client-facing communication skills, systematic fault-finding ability, and the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Mobility & Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.

Desirable:

• Certifications: CCure and/or Genetec certified; SIA licence; CSCS/ECS card.
• Sector Background: Prior experience on critical infrastructure, data centre, or large-scale enterprise commercial security projects.
