Job Title: Head of Sales – Fire & Security
Location: East Midlands
Salary: From £70,000 to £80,000 per annum + Bonus + Company Car / Allowance
Are you an experienced Fire & Security sales leader looking to take ownership of a national sales function? Technical Resources is recruiting for a Head of Sales to lead and develop a high-performing sales operation for a well-established Fire & Security business based in the East Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to shape sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and build a successful multi-channel sales team within a growing organisation.
Responsibilities:
● Lead, manage, and develop the National Sales Manager, field sales team, and telesales team
● Oversee all office-based sales operations and drive performance across all sales channels
● Define and implement sales strategies aligned with business growth objectives
● Drive revenue across Fire & Security installation, service, and maintenance solutions
● Monitor KPIs, pipeline activity, and overall sales performance
● Coach and mentor sales staff to improve conversion rates and sales effectiveness
● Identify new market opportunities, key accounts, and revenue streams
● Work closely with operations and senior leadership teams to ensure excellent customer delivery and satisfaction
Experience and Certifications required:
● Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the Fire & Security industry
● Strong track record of building, managing, and scaling successful sales teams
● Experience managing both field sales and telesales functions
● Commercially astute with a strategic and hands-on leadership approach
● Excellent people management, coaching, and performance management skills
● Ability to operate strategically while remaining involved in day-to-day sales activity
