Supervisor – Access Control & CCTV
Location: Oxford
Rate: £300 per day
Duration: 18 Months
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to oversee on-site delivery of a security systems installation project in Oxford. This is a non-working supervisory role, reporting directly to the Project Manager and responsible for managing a team of four engineers.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards, with a strong focus on CCTV and Access Control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of four on-site engineers
- Act as the primary point of contact between site teams and the Project Manager
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with project specifications and timelines
- Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance on site
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates and reports
- Ensure quality control across installation and commissioning activities
- Support problem-solving and escalation of technical or operational issues

Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the security systems industry
- Strong background in CCTV and Access Control systems (essential)
- Proven experience overseeing engineering teams on-site
- First Aid Certification
- ECS Card
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification
