About the Role
Are you an experienced Notifier Pearl Commissioning Engineer looking for your next opportunity?
Technical Resources is partnering with a leading provider of enterprise fire detection and life safety systems to hire a Notifier Pearl Commissioning Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the commissioning and handover of Notifier Pearl fire alarm systems across high-profile commercial sites, ensuring all installations meet required standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- System Commissioning: Configure, test, and commission Notifier Pearl fire alarm panels and associated devices to manufacturer specifications and site design intent.
- Fault Diagnosis & Remediation: Identify and resolve technical faults during commissioning phases, liaising with installation teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Stakeholder & Site Management: Coordinate with main contractors, site managers, and client representatives to manage commissioning programmes and minimise disruption.
- Technical Documentation & Handover: Produce accurate commissioning records, cause-and-effect documentation, and handover packs in line with project requirements.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with BS 5839-1, EN 54, and relevant site health and safety regulations.
Experience & Qualifications Required
Essential:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Commissioning Engineer within the fire detection industry, with demonstrable hands-on experience on Notifier Pearl systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the configuration and commissioning of Notifier Pearl fire alarm panels, including peripheral devices, loop configuration, and cause-and-effect programming.
- Project/Operational Scope: Proven track record of commissioning on large-scale commercial or critical infrastructure projects in busy urban environments.
- Soft Skills: Strong client-facing communication skills, methodical fault-finding ability, and the capacity to work independently on site.
- Mobility & Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK and ability to work across Central London sites as required.
Desirable:
- Certifications: FIA-accredited training, CSCS/ECS card, and relevant manufacturer certification for Notifier systems.
- Sector Background: Prior experience on high-rise, mixed-use commercial, or critical infrastructure projects in London.
