Job Title: Fire Alarm Engineer
Location: Manchester
Are you a Fire Alarm Engineer based in Manchester looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a range of commercial and residential sites, working on high-end multi-panel fire alarm systems including Gent and Siemens. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire safety solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire alarm systems across multiple sites in the Manchester area.
* Diagnose and repair faults on complex multi-panel fire alarm systems, including Gent and Siemens.
* Complete accurate service records and site documentation in line with current standards.
* Liaise with site contacts and facilities managers to coordinate access and minimise disruption during visits.
* Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with BS 5839 and relevant health and safety requirements.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3 years of experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems in a commercial environment.
* Proven hands-on experience with multi-panel systems, including Gent and Siemens products.
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across a range of fire detection equipment.
* Full UK driving licence, as the role involves travel between sites across Manchester.
* FIA Level 3 Fire Detection and Alarm Systems qualification (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS Card (desirable).
