Job Title: Fire Alarm & Intruder Alarm Engineer
Location: Bristol
Length: Long-term rolling contract
Rate: £220 – £240 per day + expense package
Are you a Fire Alarm & Intruder Alarm Engineer based in Bristol looking for your next contract opportunity? As a Fire Alarm & Intruder Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, and remedial works on fire alarm and intruder alarm systems across a range of commercial and residential sites in the Bristol area. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on fire alarm and intruder alarm systems in line with relevant standards.
* Diagnose and resolve faults on fire alarm and intruder alarm systems, completing remedial works as required.
* Complete accurate service reports and site documentation following each visit.
* Liaise with site contacts and customers in a professional manner, keeping them informed throughout each visit.
* Ensure all works are completed in compliance with BS 5839 and BS EN 50131 standards.
Experience and Certifications required:
* Minimum 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm and intruder alarm systems.
* Hands-on experience with a range of fire alarm panels, including Gent, Advanced, Hochiki, or Notifier.
* Experience with intruder alarm systems from manufacturers such as Texecom, Pyronix, or Honeywell.
* Full UK driving licence required.
* FIA Level 3 qualification (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable).
