Three busy, valuable days at The Security Event at the NEC have come to a close, and it’s fair to say it was one of the most productive shows we’ve attended.
A particular highlight was the time spent speaking with clients, both existing and new, about the real pressures and priorities currently shaping the Fire & Security industry.
A clear theme throughout the event was ongoing demand. Whether it was sourcing specialist engineers, scaling project teams, or securing hard-to-find skill sets, many organisations are continuing to operate in a highly competitive talent market. It was particularly valuable to hear first-hand how different businesses are tackling these challenges and the role recruitment is playing in enabling growth and delivery.
Just as important were the conversations around longer-term planning, not just filling immediate vacancies, but building sustainable teams for future projects and contracts. That’s where we’ve seen a growing focus on strategic recruitment partnerships rather than transactional hiring.
We also had the chance to reconnect with a number of existing clients, which is always appreciated. Face-to-face conversations like these help strengthen relationships and ensure we stay closely aligned with ongoing requirements.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit the stand, share insights, or arrange follow-up discussions.
If we didn’t manage to catch you at the show, we’d still love to connect. Whether you’re actively recruiting or planning ahead for upcoming projects, we’re always happy to talk through how we can support your hiring strategy across the Fire & Security sector.
