About the Role
Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Project Manager looking for your next opportunity?
Technical Resources is partnering with a leading provider of fire detection and life safety systems to hire a Fire Alarm Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of fire alarm installation and upgrade projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Manage the full project lifecycle for fire alarm installations and upgrades, from pre-construction planning through to client handover.
- Programme Management: Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, tracking milestones and proactively managing risks to keep projects on schedule.
- Stakeholder & Subcontractor Management: Coordinate directly with clients, M&E contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Technical Oversight & Reporting: Produce and review O&M manuals, handover documentation, and progress reports, maintaining accurate project records throughout.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with BS 5839, EN 54, and relevant CDM and health & safety regulations.
Experience & Qualifications Required
Essential:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Fire Alarm Project Manager within the fire and life safety industry.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with leading fire alarm systems such as Gent, Hochiki, Kentec, Notifier, or Advanced Electronics.
- Project/Operational Scope: Proven track record of delivering fire alarm projects across commercial, residential, or critical infrastructure environments.
- Soft Skills: Strong client-facing communication, the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, and confident stakeholder management at all levels.
- Mobility & Eligibility: Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.
Desirable:
- Certifications: FIA-accredited training, CSCS/ECS card, NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely, Prince2 or equivalent project management qualification.
- Sector Background: Prior experience delivering projects within healthcare, education, or high-rise residential environments is advantageous.
