Job Title: Training Support Manager
Location: Oxford
Salary: From £45,000 to £52,000 per annum
Are you looking for a Training Support Manager – Fire & Security position working across Oxford, Gloucester, and Swindon? As a Training Support Manager, you will be responsible for delivering technical training, providing on-site support, and mentoring engineers to ensure high standards across fire and security systems. You will be working for a respected national organisation focused on developing engineers and delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
● Deliver classroom and field-based training to Fire & Security Engineers at all levels
● Provide expert on-site technical support and troubleshooting
● Carry out engineer audits to ensure quality, compliance, and technical standards
● Develop and implement upskilling programmes across the engineering team
● Support the rollout of new products, equipment, and procedures
● Travel nationwide with occasional overnight stays
Experience and Certifications required:
● A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Fire & Security Engineer
● Strong knowledge of fire alarm, intruder, CCTV, and access control systems
● Experience in training, mentoring, or supporting engineers
● Confident communicator with strong leadership skills
● Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
● Desirable: Industry qualifications such as FIA or NSI
